Tanzanian climate is very conducive for spices cultivation of Zingiberaceae and Piperaceae family of plants – that include cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Turmeric and Black pepper. These spices grow well in hot, humid and tropical climate of Tanzania. Cardamom or lliki as known in local Swahili language, is grown in southeast and northeast of the country. We source our high-quality spices including cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, black pepper etc. harvested locally by family growers in the Morogolo and Tanga regions.
